Client requirements
M2 UK Ltd is a well established management and training consultancy, with a range of national organisations as clients. They have used the services of members of the K2 Horizons’ team for the past 3 years for a range of work including delivery of training courses for managers and management development programmes such as ILM qualifications, NVQ Team Leading. Our services have also been used for internal verification of NVQ programmes and mapping assessment criteria with the introduction of new/revised qualifications.
M2 UK recently asked us to design and deliver a Time Management course for a retail client, with course delegates from head office and branches. The client had specific topics that they wanted covered in the training and it needed to be run at fairly short notice.
Implementation
We custom designed the course, ensuring all of the requested topics to meet the client’s requirements were included and delivered the training – all in a very short timeframe. The course was highly participative and the mixture of individual and group work allowed individuals to recognise both their strengths and areas for development re time management, provided the opportunity for sharing of good practice and presented useful ideas for maximising effectiveness.
Outcome
The outcome was very positive – all delegates went back to the workplace equipped with a range of practical tools and techniques and a personal time management action plan, motivated to put their learning into practice!
