This qualification is aimed at anyone in employment who wishes to increase their effectiveness at work, although it is also accessible to learners who are associated with organisations on a social or voluntary basis. It is particularly suited to those who are new to supervisory or management roles

Aims
To improve effectiveness at work, increase levels of motivation, self esteem and confidence in relation to learning and application of skills at work. It covers 8 aspects of emotional intelligence.
Content
The qualification consists of 8 units:
- Improve personal innovation
- Increase self awareness
- Develop personal intuition
- Improve emotional management
- Enhance individual goal orientation
- Develop empathy skills
- Improve social skills
- Accelerate individual learning
Delivery and Assessment
The workbook provides a combination of reference information, questions and practical activities that enable candidates to meet assessment requirements for this qualification. Candidates complete the qualification in their place of work with access to an assessor who will support them throughout the programme.
