Aims
- To give candidates an introduction to the issues around stereotyping, prejudice and discrimination
- To identify the basic rights that all people should enjoy and the shared values that people have
- To examine the responsibility each person and organisation has in ensuring that barriers to participation in society are removed
Content
The qualification consists of 3 units
- Exploring equality and diversity
- Explore prejudice and discrimination
- Explore people’s rights and responsibilities
Delivery and Assessment
The workbook provides a combination of reference information, questions and practical activities that enable candidates to meet assessment requirements for this qualification. Candidates complete the qualification in their place of work with access to an assessor who will support them throughout the programme.
