It’s the little things that make a difference!

We stopped for Saturday lunch recently in an eaterie offering panini’s, wraps, jacket potatoes etc with a wide and imaginative range of fillings. The service was great too. However, when we asked for salt and pepper at the same time as the table next to us, we all discovered that they only had one salt/pepper set for all of the dozen or so tables there! What a shame – they let themselves down on something that they could have provided for each table at relatively low cost.

So …. is there anything that you’re not giving your customers that wouldn’t cost you much (might even be free?) – that would ‘complete the package’ for them, to ensure you get repeat business and they recommend you to others? It’s worth a thought!
